Hey All! We now have a second blog that I have access to.
Some information about what we discussed yesterday:
(1) We can modify our missiles and our fuel tank so long as the fuel tank does not leak
(2) our fuel tank can be within a fuselage- does not need to be fully exposed or partially exposed
(3) We can not move the plane from the drop box region to the takeoff region after a run
Overall: Great meeting last night!
Design Objectives: Finish simulation of fuselages, decide upon 1-2 viable options, choose material
Construction Objectives: Begin "flotting" (Computer model of airplane) and begin scaling!

Hey all,
Great meeting last night. Just thought I'd post some links:
Some bomb release methods:

Materials online (depron, carbon etc):

Some plans and materials. The F117 stealth is basically a flying wing with pusher prop so buying the plan may be something to consider, if we go that way.

Hey,
a couple of things we missed.
1) We must be able to release the nalgene bottle remotely, although this is not required for any mission.
2) "All of the release mechanism components (servo, any moving linkages/parts) must be part of the aircraft mount, not part of the store. "
3) I think our fuel tank has to lie completely outside the aircraft, just like the missiles. Take a look at FAQ question 3.
